Follow this checklist for suggestions, tips, and tricks to make sure your video marketing passes the bar:

1. Consider using RE/MAX video tools like RE/MAX Hustle – which could help make creating video content a breeze with ready to customize, branded templates.
2. Make sure anyone who appears in the video has provided an appropriate release either via their employment agreement, ICA, or one drafted for specific shoots/events.
3. Remove audio from candid clips like office meetings, to help ensure confidential or personal info is not accidentally shared.
4. Do not share consumer details without obtaining permissions, this could include things like family photos that appear in walk through videos.
5. If you are sharing market tips or industry insights that are not yours, be sure to obtain the right permissions from the source author.
6. If you are sharing home reno or staging tips by showing “what not to do”, ensure that your videos are anonymized, or you have written consent from the homeowner to share the tip.
